I wouldn't call the kickoff disc a disaster, but, Yes - the original vinyl anthology does audio better - more than punch, more nuances and subtlety. If you are after the anthology itself, I would avert this edition, but, I guess nigh of united states are dedicated aficionados, so a second disc which hasn't been issued on vinyl before is plenty - only I woun't listen to the first disc hither always again.
Ps. I do enjoy the second disc.

I like the audio of this release…but yeah the vinyl pressing could take been better. Definitely needs a wash to lessen the noise - which is profoundly improved afterwards.

Mediocre pressing. Sounds thin compared to earlier pressings. Disappointing. I would avoid.
